Having no space on my phone for photos is a poor excuse not to have blogged but sorted now!
SO much has happened and even on a daily basis but doesn’t it always at their age!
The talking is non stop but lovely! We’ve had some sickness, a fever…..a worried Mummy but Bea was a trooper! Her first ever sleepover at Grammie and Grampies while Mummy and Daddy went to a wedding for the weekend! She keeps asking when she can go again….I’m trying not to take offence! She’s doing brilliantly at Nursery, she scoots, bikes and space hopper bounces ALL around the house/garden! The weather’s been AMAZING so we’ve been to the Splash Pad several times, lots of Park action, many many “pinknicks!” (picnics). I’ve missed lots out but ALL good stuff!!
Today was brilliant! Having spent the last couple of weeks cheering big bro Ollie on at his Athletic events, Rounders matches, Stoolball matches today was Bea’s SPORTS DAY at Nursery! She was SO excited!! She knew the drill and all the excitement that went with it and I was under STRICT instructions to shout “GO GO BEA!!!” just like we do when we watch Ollie!
We arrived today and watched the toddlers to their races….

And then it was Bea’s Bumble Bee Class! First up Egg & Spoon! Real egg and real spoon!!??
Mummy’s instructions: ok, so hold the handle, hold the egg on the spoon (this was allowed), and when Lisa says GO you need to run as fast as you can to the ribbon at the end and CRASH through it! She did herself proud and came first by a country mile….and then continued to run a mile after the finish…..hysterical!! I shall call her Forest Gump!
The second was the sprint. She knew the drill however her best friend Ameli was slightly less convinced by the “running buzz” so Candice asked if Bea would hold Ami’s hand and BLESS her she did and they ran (Bea dragging….) all the way to the finish together!

Us Brooker gals did good and Mummy won her race too….against a Daddy!!
The running/racing theme continued throughout the day! I was repeatedly asked to say “READY STEADY GO!!!!” and she’d run around the place…..winning every time of course!! And when Charlie got home (he routinely strips after his sweaty bike ride back from school) he was enlisted to RACE! So they did…..
