Pub, Sun and ice cream bouncing

Daddy finished work early and was keen for a beer in the Sun.
Mummy wanted to walk Arek, so while we waited in the pub for Mummy to come drink her “bubbles” (white wine spritzer), Daddy and Bea sat and had “Daddy-juice” (Tanglefoot beer) and two scoops of vanilla ice cream.

Once satiated we set about attacking the space hopper.

Mummy eventually turned up and we sat in the fading sun; a late night for Bea but very worthwhile. We will do this again!

Awful blogging but been so busy!

Poor excuse but camera full so pics are minimal! We’ve been lapping up this weather ๐Ÿ™‚ Mummy working at the moment (just at the beginning of the week) but Grammie and Nursery are being thoroughly enjoyed!! This week…

Mon: Grammie & Bea
Tues: Nursery….and rain!
Wed: Swimming & Grampie!! Us gals went onto the Park and had a lovely picnic! School run, clubs, dinner and Brighton cycle racing took care of the rest!!!
Thurs: We spent the morning at The Nature Reserve, Bea loved it! She was running around like a loon and then demurely watched (and reported) on the birds in The Hides. Needless today we enjoyed another lovely sunny picnic!

Then ventured into town and Bea dutifully traipsed around after me running errands….on the promises of a treat….in the form of smoothie juice and a chocolate waffle!
Today: Music with Anna, Isla & baby Lily and Cindy (bump) & Bea(trix). We spent to the afternoon playing in the garden and then popped to the Village for an ice cream and the Park before collecting the boys. Friday night for us (over the age of 2yrs old)….Chish & Fips, wine and chocolate! Hoping to carry the same theme on for the weekend!

Mummy found a three wheeled scooter and when we went back on Sunday the shop was shut. Of course by this time Bea knew where we were going and luckily found another shop in town happy to let us try their three wheelers out in the shop before purchase.

Almost had a fuss in the shop as she quickly got to grips with it and refused to give it up!

Turns out it was simple to put together from the box so we went around the rest of the town visit on our scooter.
With a novice’s lean taking her towards everyone that was walking towards us it was an exercise in parental apology. ๐Ÿ™‚

Now at home and with more practice she loves the rush of rolling down the slope. Sensibly wearing her crash helmet of course!
Daddy knows this will help with the transition to a powered version at a later date. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Photo below. Rather posed. I think this is her attempt at looking coy. Or something.
