After Horsham Italia and Bea’s 1st ever face paint we went off to the seaside for lunch on the beach and a stroll followed by an ice cream.

We can see Bea still proudly showing off her butterfly visage to the world whilst eating our lovely picnic:

We then went for a little stroll along the beach and we see the boys helping Bea when the interesting stones made her stand on one spot playing with them!

Once walking was done it was time to park up on a wind swept bench and take in an ice cream.

Once all the ice cream was done we all sat and let the wind push through us:

Then on the way back home we stopped in a gun shop and found the perfect tool for Bea to start her shooting career with:

All in all a rather diverse action packed day with lots of lovely chillin.

Daddy and Bea made a quick dash into Horsham to see the Horsham Italia 8 activities.
Quick look at the Lamborghini and the Ferraris and then a good drool over the Ducatis and Moto Guzzi motorbikes.

Then we became a butterfly!

Daddy used to take photos of Bea on his knees when she was tiny simply because she fitted there nicely.

This morning she sat there quietly after reading her a “morning story” and I asked her if could take her photo.

How she’s grown!

We’ve had a great week: Grammie’s birthday, Nursery School Tuesday morning, Park action, swimming with Grampie, Musical Friends….and lots more! Lovely weather called for lots of outside action….

LOVES her shadow at the moment! It amazes her SO much!!

Playing hide-and-seek!

Looking a little anxious at the top! As was Mummy because she was so high I could barely reach her!!

We were playing with Ollie’s mended iPod and had a little game using FaceTime (video calling to normal people!).

Bea thought this was hilarious, especially when Ollie poked her in the nose through the camera.

As mentioned a number of times in the past week the sun has been getting warmer and more apparent.
Consequently we found ourselves sweeping the trampoline clean for Bea to bounce and bounce and bounce and… err bounce some more.
So much bouncing in fact that we were all a little statically charged!

The sun has been out all day so we have played on the patio.
We started by swinging an axe, then started sweeping up some of the winter left overs, after which we built a camp out of chairs, wheelbarrow, fence panels and an old tarpaulin!

After playing in the tent (including a semi-successful potty-poo!), we wandered about the garden and eventually into the woods where we scared off a family of squirrels and then made a “Bea-line” for the swing.

She loves a good swing with a big push. So big in fact that she nearly fell off the front once and then did fall off the back; Daddy able to catch and barely disrupt the swing (with no reduction in smile! Phew!).

Daddy got dizzy with all the pushing, so snapped some photos of the happy child:

We had a lovely coffee fuelled mooch around town this morning! Loveliness!

It is such a beautiful day so we skipped our usual indoor activities and met Cindy and Bea for some Park fun!!

We walked (or ran in Bea’s case) around the lake to the Playground.

She’s a total spin addict, I was spinning her for ages! She likes the “dizzy rush” afterwards!!

We had a beautiful alfresco lunch. Bea(trix) very kindly leant Bea her sun hat!

And then for the good stuff….

Mummy out to play all day so Daddy, Ollie and Bea took the chance to take Arek for a nice long dog walk.

When I say long I mean long in time as we barely covered two miles in an hour given her ladyship’s little legs and slow pace.
We went via a park where Arek was able to do some retrieving practice so he got to properly stretch himself.

Once on the walk proper we found a pile of wood chips which were used to be king-o-the-castle and bounce up and down victorious with our sticks (swords).

Bea still doing well with her potty training twice asked for a wee-wee, but couldn’t go being dangled in the air with her bottom out, so twice she clench up and waited until we got back to the car and the comfort of her own potty.
