Aaaaaand normality resumed!

Easter hols over with so back to the weekly grind BUT we have had a lovely Monday.

Off to see Grammie who’d spoilt Bea with a few little purchases during her Brighton trip! A new hot chocolate mug, a funky pencil case and a very grown up “glass” which Bea LOVED!!!

3….going on 30! Just like her Mummy, knows how to handle a glass…..or 4!?

And a spot of manicuring by Grammie!!!

A lovely day as always! And then off home to see a very much missed big brother (Charlie has been in Andalucia for 5 days) who may have also spoilt her…..

Some very cool fingers brushes from the Van Gogh Museum.

  Already tried and tested!!

And then a very big surprise when Charlie pulled out Paddington. We had tried to get Bea the original from HAMLEY’s in the correct colourway but after months of trying we resigned to the fact they were out of stock. Charlie found this chap in HAMLEY’s at the airport…..Bea was beside herself!!!! I’m not sure who got a bigger cuddle Paddington or Charlie?

As you can see someone else missed someone else just a little bit too 🙂

Lovely weekend!!

We have had a most lovely weekend FULL of motorbikes, chain sawing (Daddy’s new “tool”…..aka….toy!!), visiting Grampie at work, Lambs, more motorbikes, baking and shopping! You can’t beat a weekend full of sunshine and fun!!

This was by request from Bea. She’s been pootling around the drive on Daddy’s commuter and this weekend Daddy got the Serow going and Bea wanted to go for a “real” ride…..so to the woods it was!!

Lessons on brewing and forklift driving!!

Off to the Lambs!

Baking Malteser cookies……and the eating which was apparently very funny!!

Sunday was finished by a visit from Verity who has for the past two years “used” Bea as her Childcare project at school. Bea felt very important being “interviewed” and read to by Verity to finalise the project!

Pretty Perfect Pret Chick

We had a surprise visit from Ollie this afternoon and had some bits to do in town,  with the obligatory coffee stop. So as the four of us settled Bea looked super cute and I managed to catch this shot of her…  All ready for the “Pret Brochure”!

Buchan Park

Today we went to Buchan Park just outside of town with…..Cindy, Beatrix, Zara, Anna, Isla, Lily, Lora, Charlie and Arthur!

Great fun with lots of hooning about, collecting “very special” woodland debris and picnic fun!

Lily brought her toy pram along and quite quickly got fed up of pushing it around so all the oldies “took turns” pushing it…..aka Mummy’s timed the turns!

Picnic posey

We dropped into Town on the way home to run some errands and had ourselves a coffee and marshmallow stop?

Nature Reserve Thursday!

So yesterday me, Ollie and Bea ventured off to The Nature Reserve for some nature-ness….

Mole hill hoping was first on the list apparently….

Some running!

A spot of spotting in the hides….
